Welcome to our School Council page!
We meet every two weeks and our main aim is to make Birch Copse an even better place for the children to go to school. We organise regular events, some are just for fun - like Takeover Day - and some help raise money, which we either donate to charity or spend to improve our school. Meet our current School Council then have a look further down to find out what we have been doing this year.
As the Chairperson, Riley is responsible for ensuring meetings take place, everyone gets a say and the discussions turn into actions, which will benefit the children of Birch Copse.
The rest of the school council is made up of our Class Councilors. We have one per class and their responsibility is to make sure they speak for the children in their classes and liaise between the School Council and Classroom.
As our Vice-Chairpersons, Brooke and Fletcher are responsible for supporting the Chairperson.
As our Secretaries, it is Maddie and Daniel's responsibility to ensure meetings run well, minutes are taken and these are distributed to every class. They also help communicate with parents and anyone else who can help support our School Council.
