Tilehurst Olympics
Over 40 children from Year 5 and 6 took part in this athletics event, organised by Mrs Raines and Mr Cooling. It took place at Palmer Park Athletics stadium and really was a brilliant day out for all the children involved. They all took part in a track or field event including 100m to 800m running events, relays, javelin, shot putt and long jump. Times or distances were recorded for each event and scores allocated. It was very close going into the final relay events, but we were really pleased that Birch Copse were the eventual winners. Congratulation to all the children who took part.
